Sam started his SAR career as a Trailing and Air Scent Dog. He very quickly showed his preference to being a cadaver dog. This was his purpose in life and he was very good at it.
After November 2000 Sam only worked Cadaver. Sam participated in over 100 searches and was instrumental in a successful outcome in a good number of them.
Sam has been greatly missed, but we know he is doing his thing.
