3 Year Old German Shepard (Please Adopt)

I have recently become aware of an intact 3 year old Male Shepard that was recently retired from the prison in Hoke County.

He was retired because he would not stay in his kennel and was overly friendly with the other dogs and is a real people dog. This is what I have been told. I have also been told that he follows commands very very well, his sole reason for being retired is as stated above, never staying in his kennel.

His name is Maliki (Mal-eh-ki).

I do not have the contact information, but will post it soon as soon as I get it. The people who have him can not keep him and it may come down to him being placed in the Hoke County Shelter, and have found out that if he is placed in the shelter, then he will only have 3 days to live. (Side Note: This pisses me off. Hoke county regulations say that any animal turned into the shelter is only kept for 3 days and then they are euthinized).

I sincerely hope that someone in NCCERT or a friend adopts him.

If you have any questions before I can post any other information, feel free to contact me at cmckerliesr@windstream.net

Warmest Regards and Happy Holiday!
