APEX--Apex Fire Department held an open house event the 22nd of May, at the Apex Fire Dept. Station 3, on Hunter Street. Special guests included, North Carolina Canine Emergency Response Team, Apex Police Department, Apex EMS and famous local author and fire buff Mike Legeros.

The fun filled day included events such as high angle rescue demonstations, burn and fire extinguisher demonstrations, apparatus display and canine meet & greet. All four organizations had the opportunity to meet the public, pass out information packets and show the local citizens our capabilities and equipment.
