To provide organized and highly qualified and trained volunteer assistance to public safety agencies, emergency service agencies, other service organizations and/or individuals in the search of victims who are lost, trapped, or incapacitated, upon the request of any official agency day or night, under all conditions where they may effectively operate in North Carolina or surrounding states.
The operational goals of NC K9 Emergency Response Team, shall include promotion of and participation in continuous training and education of sonar operators, public safety divers, boat operators, K9s and support personnel in the use of necessary support equipment to maintain high standards of operational readiness
NC K9 Emergency Response Team shall also work to further the public knowledge, interest, and use of certified sonar operators, public safety divers, boat operators, K9s and qualified support personnel.
