The NC K9 Emergency Response Team (NC K9 ERT) maintains specialized search and recovery capabilities to water-based operations, providing critical assistance in challenging aquatic environments. Our Water Operations teams are equipped with state-of-the-art sonar technology, highly trained public safety divers, and advanced remote-controlled sonar boat, ready to respond to searches.
Our mission is to provide organized, highly qualified, and trained volunteers to public safety agencies(LE), emergency service agencies, and other service organizations. We are dedicated to the search and recovery of victims who are lost, trapped, or incapacitated. Upon the request of any official agency, we operate day or night, under all conditions, throughout North Carolina and surrounding states.
