DEPLOYMENT, WAKE FOREST NC — NC CERT along with several other agencies were deployed tonight for a missing young man in Wake Forest, NC. The boy had walked away from a recital in town in freezing temperatures. With the cooperation of NC CERT and these agencies, an intense search was conducted. Approximately 4 hours after the young man went missing, he was found by ground teams. We are thankful this young man was found and did not have to suffer in the cold. Agencies that participated were NC CERT, Wake Forest Police Department, Wake County Emergency Management, Wake Forest Fire Department, Wilson County Mounted Search Team, North Carolina Highway Patrol (ground), North Carolina Highway Patrol Aviation and the Wake County Sheriff’s Department. We are thankful that the family of this young man has been reunited with him and that he is unharmed.
